Dear Birth Mother
We know you are facing a difficult decision right now, but we would like to offer you some comfort and let you get to know a little about us.
We are Lance, Carly and Abbey. Lance and I are high school sweethearts. After dating for 6 years we got married and had our daughter Abbey four years later. When we started trying to have our second child we became pregnant, but sadly lost our baby. Soon after, we began to struggle with infertility and never became pregnant again. We both happily decided to add to our family through adoption.
Our family life and marriage is very stable and filled with a lot of laughter and silliness. We both have wonderful relationships with our parents and extended family. They are all a big part of our lives and we spend as much time with them as we can. We enjoy spending time with our friends as well. We like to do anything that involves being outdoors with fun activities such as cookouts, swimming and going to parks and the zoo. We are just a very down to earth family that values time together.
Lance is an amazing person. His kindness and good heart makes him who he is. His spirit is gentle and he has an easy going personality. He is absolutely hilarious and makes us laugh everyday. I love him with all of my heart and can’t imagine being with anyone else.
Carly is the most loving and caring wife and mom. She is extremely funny and kind hearted. She is a beautiful person both inside and out. Abbey and I could not ask for a better mommy and wife.
Abbey is 6 years old and full of personality. She can’t wait to have a baby brother or sister to love on. Abbey likes to do ballet, ride horses, and anything to do with the outdoors she loves, even playing with bugs! She will be great big sis, and a great influence in the life of a sibling.
We truly believe that the key for our daughter and our future child to grow into happy adults involves raising them to have respect for themselves and others, to be compassionate and have mercy for those around them and to love and laugh everyday. But most of all, to know and have a relationship with God.
We promise you that your child will have many people around them to love them and a big sister that will teach them everything she knows. Your child will know that you loved them and made a huge sacrifice for them. We promise you that your child will be loved by all of us with all of our hearts, always!
