Rick, Kim, Corey and Riley —Home with Baby Girl!

Dear Birthparent,

Hi. Our names are Rick, Kim, Corey and Riley and we want to thank you for reading our letter. We hope that we can make a very difficult time for you just a little bit less so by telling you a bit about ourselves and our commitment to raising children in our home. You want the best for your child as we want the best for ours. As you make this very difficult decision, please know that you have our greatest respect and admiration.

We have always wanted a large family. We have so much love to give and know that God wants us to share this love with another child. Now that Corey and Riley, our sons, are getting older, we are anxious, more than ever, to add another child to our family. We know what struggling is after enduring a long 5 years of infertility treatments. We realize life is not always easy to live or give. We feel privileged that you may choose us as loving parents for your child and honored to raise a child that started with a mother who was able to love her child Christians and attend the First United Methodist Church here in town. Our relationship with God is important to our extended families and to us so our children will grow up knowing and loving Him.

We have a wonderful 10-year-old son, Corey and 3-year-old son Riley. They are our sunshine and when skies are gray they make them blue. To watch them grow and learn each day is very rewarding. Being parents is a dream come true for us and we long to share our love and joy for life with a third child.

Although we are both only 33 years old, we have always wanted children. Before we were married 12 years ago we discussed our dreams of having a family. Our family is not yet complete; we have so much love to give. When we daydream about the future we see Corey, Riley and their sister having a very special bond and enjoying life together not only as siblings but as friends, as both Rick and I do with our siblings. Our families are very close. We are there for good times and difficult times. It is wonderful to have brothers and sisters to enjoy life with. Our family enjoys activities together, like skiing, camping, bike riding, board games, cards etc. There are always children present having a fun time. If you want your child to grow and share the love of a warm family we would very much like to be that family.
